Wireless and PAWS FAQ

 

 

Why can't I connect to the wireless network?

Make sure you are in an area where there is PAWS coverage. See the coverage map for details.

If you are a student in an area that usually has coverage, contact STS at 542-3333 and report the problem.

If you are a faculty/staff member in a building that usually has PAWS coverage, contact your inhouse IT personnel and make them aware of the issue. If you unable to locate an inhouse person, contact the Helpdesk at 542-3106 and report the problem.

 

How much does it cost to get wireless (PAWS) access in my building?

If your Department is interested in getting PAWS coverage in your building, contact the EITS Helpdesk at 542-3106 or submit a ticket with your contact information, location, and needs. EITS will be able to work with you and TEC services to get an estimate.
